No one ever uses this information for any commercial purposes.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information We Collect

In addition to the above, we collect certain anonymous (non-personally identifiable) information to help us improve the The Kochi Heritage Project web site and to evaluate the access and use of our content. Such information includes your IP address, the requested URL, the browser version and type. We also use Google Analytics for traffic analysis.

This web site uses cookies to track session state only where such tracking adds optional functionality, such as playing a game or setting a graphical skin. No personal information is stored or extracted from cookies.

Booking A Tour

To book a tour, we require your name, email address and mobile number. We will only use this information when it’s important to contact you as we prepare for your tour departure. This information is stored in our database and can be accessed by The Kochi Heritage Project office staff in order to assist you with booking or payment if necessary. We will also share your contact information to our storytellers who are assigned for your tour. They will need this information to coordinate with you before the start of the tour.

Payment Gateway

At the time of booking, you will also need to provide  payment information such as credit card number or bank transfer details. We NEVER collect any of the client’s financial information, like Credit card details, expiration date etc, as it is collected by the Payment gateway provider under a very secure terminal.

Tripadvisor Review

We will be sharing a TripAdvisor review link via WhatsApp and Email at the end of the tour. If you choose to write a review, you will be required to create a TripAdvisor member account (if you aren’t already a member). At that time, you will have the option to opt into TripAdvisor marketing emails, and, if so, will receive general TripAdvisor email campaigns. Email addresses submitted for Review will not be used for any other purpose and are stored securely.

Subscribing To Our Mailing List

By signing up or making a purchase on kochiheritageproject.in you consent to subscribing to our newsletter. We will send you information about The Kochi Heritage Project tours and products, company news and events, and special offers once a month, though occasionally it may be more than that. If you have been on a The Kochi Heritage Project tour and have not subscribed to our newsletter, we might contact you if we have an upcoming tour or departure that we think might interest you. If you don’t want to receive newsletters, you can click on the link labelled “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email newsletter you receive from us.

Your Rights To Your Information

You have the right to request access to your information for the purpose of correcting your information, changing how your information is used, or erasing your information at any time. Please be aware that certain personal information is required in order to book, purchase, and participate on a The Kochi Heritage Project tour.

Any form of note-taking, and video or audio recording is not allowed on our tours. We put in a lot of effort to research, script and verify our stories and this is our intellectual property. Please do not copy or reproduce our narratives in any form. If you are a guide, or a travel writer, or a blogger, please get our express written consent before the tour.
