a heritage storytelling initiative
a heritage storytelling initiative
The Kochi Heritage Project aims to stimulate the curious visitor to learn and carry away with them a deeper and broader understanding of the city's heritage, sufficient to enrich the mind and to cause them to pause and look at life from a new point of view and a new vision.

We delve into the rich history of Cochin, tracing its journey from the 'holy grail' of the Indian spice trade to a vibrant cosmopolitan melting pot.
Through ethical research, we curate immersive, engaging, and eye-opening experiences for locals and travelers, bringing Kochi's history, art, culture, food, places, and people to life.
We have a dedicated team of storytellers and researchers who curate and lead our experiences. They come from diverse backgrounds and share a deep passion for their heritage. They love meeting people, gaining insights, forging friendships, and sharing their knowledge with like-minded individuals.
We organize heritage events in the city, including public walks and tours, collaborative heritage experiences, heritage talks, festivals, treasure hunts, film screenings, and more. These activities aim to spread awareness about Kochi's rich heritage to both locals and travelers.
We proudly support small, often family-run businesses and NGOs throughout Kochi. From local hosts and storytellers to the owners and staff of local eateries and establishments, we empower locals and boost the local economy, creating social, economic, and environmental benefits for all stakeholders.
