Private tours can be scheduled by an individual or a group on a convenient date and time of your choice through the weekdays. However, it will only be confirmed depending on the availability of the requested date and a host to take you around.
Group tours are fixed departure tours that may be available to join due to multiple individual requests on a particular date. However, it will only be available and confirmed depending on the enquiries on a particular date.
Public tours are scheduled events for a larger group on weekends and holidays and are generally announced in advance on our webpage and social media.

Signature Storytelling Tours are the standard storytelling experiences we offer to learn about the city.
On-Demand Tours are storytelling walks with a guest storyteller. (Based on their availability)
Flavour Trails are walking tours to explore the city and its stories through food and it tales. (Requires a minimum of 4 participants)
Bicycle Trails Pedal your way through history on our bicycle tours.
For private tours, you can join as a solo traveller upto a maximum of 12 participants.
For group tours, we open a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 8 participants. The cost will be the same for all participants.
For public tours, we open upto a maximum of 15 slots.

The cost of a tour includes the services of a knowledgeable storyteller, and local taxes (unless specifically excluded). Some tours may include a tasting of local cuisine and refreshments as part of the experience, bicycle costs for a bicycle tour, etc. Otherwise, food and beverages, shopping, and other incidental expenses are excluded in the cost.
Our tour charges for a tour range from ₹750 to ₹3500 per person. To know about the charges, please drop us a message through our contact page.
Children below 12 will not be charged. Above 12, they will be charged same as an adult unless otherwise specified.
Our signature tours and experiences typically take 2.5 - 3 hours. The distances are subjective to the area, the stories covered in the theme and the type of tour. However, for private tours we can be flexible with the timings and distances.

Public tours are announced on the Events page on our website and social media handles and a direct registration link will be shared along.
Payments can be made through bank transfers, UPI, Razorpay and PayPal. For bank details, kindly call / WhatsApp on +91 704 214 9051 or email email@example.com. We can also share a Paypal or Razorpay payment link to you in case of international payments.
All payments are accepted online or through bank transfer. We don't accept cash.
We will try and fit in a request for a change of date and time, if it is communicated well in advance and depending on the availability of a host.
A minimum lead time of 72 hours is required before your planned dates. No, spot booking is not available.
While we allow our guests to choose a convenient time of their choice for a private tour, we will suggest the best times according to various factors like the location, weather, traffic,. etc to have the best experience.
Once you have made the payment for a walk, we will share details of the walk along with the meeting point to the WhatsApp number or Email shared in the request form based on your preference.
No, we do not work with agents. However, our experiences are available through select travel partners, homestays and boutique heritage hotels as private experiences.
Yes, you can book a tour or gift a tour for someone else.
To cancel a tour, please call / WhatsApp us on +91 7042149051 or email firstname.lastname@example.org a week before the booked date and time for a full refund.
Please note, 50% cancellation charge will be applicable from seven days upto 72 hours before the booked date and 100% cancellation charges will be applicable if requesting to cancel within 72 hours before the booked date and time.
The Kochi Heritage Project tours occur rain or shine! Our storytellers are trained and prepared to lead tours in inclement weather. However, if a major weather event is predicted by the authorities, we may cancel tours in advance. If you have purchased spots for a tour that is cancelled, you will be notified and offered an exchange or refund. In the rare event that an unpredicted major storm arises and your storyteller feels it is necessary to cancel a tour, you will be offered a refund or exchange. Please note that we do not offer refunds if your tour proceeds despite bad weather.
The amount minus the cancellation and convenience charges if any will be refunded to the same account you paid from within 15 working days.
