The Initiative
A storytelling initiative dedicated to raising awareness about heritage, fostering dialogue around its preservation, and embracing diverse perspectives. Through engaging heritage and cultural tourism experiences, educational programs, and meticulously curated events, we aim to connect locals and visitors alike with the rich history and vibrant culture of Kochi.
Founded by Johann Binny Kuruvilla in 2018, our passion project has grown into a collaborative social enterprise dedicated to documenting and celebrating Kochi’s heritage through immersive experiences, events, and research. We focus on preserving heritage sustainably and building a community committed to both exploring and conserving the city’s diverse stories.
