✨🆕 Of Sea & Spice | Muziris

Where the ocean met the spice empire

Stand where the river kisses the sea, and you stand on the threshold of the ancient world. Of Sea & Spice is an immersive heritage trail that unearths the secrets of the "Emporium of the World"—a port that once whispered to the empires of Rome, Arabia, and China.

As the afternoon light turns golden, we follow the tide from the Arabian Sea into the sheltered backwaters of Kerala. Travelling by private boat and breezy tuk-tuk, you will traverse the same routes that once floated fleets of spice and silk.

This is a narrative etched in stone and water: from the strategic brilliance hidden within a Dutch Palace to the miracle of coexistence on the "Hill of Harmony," and from the crumbling battlements of a Fort to the timeless bustle of the erstwhile spice market. It is a story of how the salt of the ocean mixed with the spice of the land to create a unique culture. Our voyage concludes with a twilight tasting session, watching the day fade over the estuary where history’s greatest ships once dropped anchor.
